Despite missing 3 games with a hamstring injury, Steelers pass rusher extraordinaire LaMarr Woodley is still second in the AFC in sacks behind Von Miller. After his first almost full practice Wednesday, Woodley stated that “it felt pretty good.” He is expected to be back in full force this weekend for Pittsburgh.
The Steelers defense has picked it up in their last two games, forcing 6 turnovers after only 3 in the first 9 games. They will need Woodley coming down the stretch, and he will be a welcome sight on the field when the Steelers take on division rival Cincinnati Sunday in a game with huge playoff implications.
Also expected to play is safety Troy Polamalu, who left the game with concussion like symptoms in the Steelers win at Kansas City Sunday night. The Bengals aim to prove they can hang with the big dogs and keep their current hold on the second wild card spot in the AFC playoff picture.
